I have applied to some data entry jobs online but I'm not getting any progress. Does anyone can help me? I wanna have some online jobs. I hope someone can post comments or PM me any suggestions. Thanks!

Most legitimate online jobs require some education and grammar skills. You might want to proofread your writing before submitting. ("Does anyone can help me?" for instance) If English is your second language, sign up for some English classes at your local community college to improve your usage, punctuation and spelling. These things really make a difference when you are trying to get a job online. The employers will be more eager to hire you then. I have found a couple of telecommute job websites that seem to be pretty decent. One is called "elance" (url: www.elance.com) and the other is "odesk" (url: www.odesk.com). These sites route you to online work assignments where you are contracting out like a temp only it is online. They have a series of skills tests that you can take that will add oomph to your profile. The more tests you take and the higher your scores, the more marketable you will be. These jobs can be hourly or per project. Hope this helps.

I have tried Odesk and it is tough to get jobs there specially if you are new to Odesk. So, I opted forget about Odesk. Any other online data entry job websites that are legit?

True, they are a little daunting but if I hired onto any job, it would take some training and exploration to learn my way around. Practice makes perfect, right? And patience is a virtue. ;-)

Hello! Do try to check out my blog since I have a lot of links there to online jobs. If you can write, you can also try the writing links, which are my main source of income now. Regards and good luck!

Hello! joram. I have just checked your blog and am quite impressed by the content, presentation and the appearance. You did a very nice job. I wish I could learn to do such work. By the way all the suggested sites are for writing, but not for data entry type of jobs. I think that is what rabajar is looking for. I would say even I am looking for such jobs. Any chance?

I have heard that Keys for Cash is a good data entry job place, but I have yet to hear back from them, so I can't advise whether or not they are a great company to work for. Be careful not to pay out any money to companies to get a job - usually that means they're not legit.

i think that is an interesting question. I believe that if there were indeed genuine online jobs out there, everyone would be doing them. The ones i have come across that are genuine are unfortunately for those in the US/canada region. This is kinda frustrating as those in those countries are NOT the only ones who can type or are in need of the jobs. Well, i guess that the world still has a long way to go in providing these kind of telecommuting opportunities worldwide. Hope that time reaches when am still alive!
