Girls or boys do you clean your own nails?or go to the nailshop

i usually clean my nails... but after going to the nailshop the woman told me theres something wrong in my nail..lol maybe i cut it the wrong way and the nail go deeper down my skin... i dont really know how to put this in world... "ingrown?" correct me if im wrong and it really hurts specially when im walking...
so is it really better to go to the nailshop or than to do it by yourself?

I clean my own. Why would I pay someone to do something, that I can do myself? Maybe if I had the extra money to throw around, I would pay someone, just to help create a job or something, but I'm not rich.

actually i think men doesnt really have a problem when it comes on cleaning their own nails... aND congratulations your lucky for that... its just that girls nail are always complicated to handle..

I clean my nails all by myself if i don't have time to go to the salon. Just like what you said ingrown nails should be removed by professionals because if you really don't know how to remove it you might get an infection and probably your toes would swell and hurt a lot.

yeah right thats my mainly concern actually... its just that nowadays im too busy in my work so i dont really have much time to go to salon...hhmmmm and i had my ingrown done by myself this weekend and gosh...i think i did it the wrong way...coz it hurts a lot now

Yeah, I think it's ingrown. I usually clean my own nails and my boyfriend's. LOL. I have the tricks in cleaning them, that's why I don't have any more ingrowns and "murders". Hehehe.
I try to be really careful in cleaning them because it does hurt when you get ingrowns.

I always cut my own nails. and i love it that way coz it's safer and it doesnt cost me anything at all.

Enh considering that I do both I think it's better to clean your own nails it seems like if you go to get it done at a nail salon then all you hear is them complain and inform you on reasons you should constantly come back. I have very sensitive nails and as much as I like my nails to look as professional as possible their are limits to the amount of pain I can take from the workers at the nail salon topped off with them talking about my imperfections.
