I have often wondered when i look up into the sky. i try to see beyond stars, galaxies and time. We like to think that we know everything there is to know abour the world we all live in. But are there still undiscovered secrets still trapped in the universe? Are there still answers we have yet to find? What do you think?

yes, there are a great nmuber of secrets which we including scientists don't find. What's more, there are many of natural phenominon that scientsits can't give us explanations. Everyday nature changes rapidly and continuously.AS man,we can't control it and are unable to address this problem. So I believe that there are still a good many of the undiscovered secrets in the universe.

Thank you for contributing. So many things are yet unexplained. If we knew every secret of the universe, what would we do with the information i wonder.

Of course there are. And this is not just my opinion. It's a fact. I'm pretty sure that we know very little about the world we live in. The universe is a very big place. We don't even have complete knowledge of the Earth yet, let alone the whole universe. I don't think we'll learn everything there is to learn in a thousand years. It would most likely take much longer than that.

Even if we had a thousand years, would it be long enough? Thanks for the response.

One of the most sought after answers which astronomers are seeking for decades is whether there is life, like or unlike ours in the vastness of the Universe. The SETI or Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence project initiated by astronomers like the late Carl Sagan have been probing through Radio telescopes for some sign of another life somewhere in the universe. So far they have been unsuccessful but they have not given up.However the greatest mystery is regarding the formation of the universe itself and what was there a split second before the big Bang, the most widely accepted theory, took place.

What has been discovered so far is only a tip of the iceberg. Whatever has been discovered is not complete. Take Mars for example, what do we know about it or for that matter about the other planets that have been discovered. It is now said that there are many universes out there!

sender621 oh yes I really do think we know just a small part of all there is , that there are a lot of secrets we have yet to discover as
for all we know we may not be alone in this large galaxy. I am sure there
are still answers we have not yet found. Its fascinating to speculate that there may be other people in other places we have yet to find in the universe.

Thank you for responding hatley. The universe is immense. How could we think we were not alone here? So many things are yet unknown.

Hey sender! I have always believe that there are other things
out there that we don't know about! I believe that there are
definitely other "forms of life" whatever they are and someday
they are going to make themselves known to us when they are
ready! I believe that probably alot more scientific evidence
that we aren't being told and I would like to know since I
have always been interested in all things related to Science!

Of course there are!!! Since we only use a minute portion of our brain, it seems reasonable to me that there are TONS of things that we don't know or understand. It has been my experience that the more a person claims to know, the less they truly understand!!!

Definitely so...We have hardly discovered anything at all beyond our own planet. It is not possible in a human beings life time to reach one of the farthest planets within the solar system, so it is impossible to think of systems beyond our solar system..Of course we will keep trying which is the best we can do - Happy mylotting and have a great evening

There is a saying in Tamil which goes something like this:"What has been learnt is as much as the grains of sand in a fistfull, and what is not learned is as large as the universe!" One cannot say it better than this. What we know of our planet, the oceans, the geology, why our very self, what to speak of the Universe? There will never be an end to learning and discovery.

There are tons of undiscovered territories not only in the world but by far in the universe. Think about the other dimensions that may be out there. This is something that is still being explored and may never be completed. Or how about the ocean explorations that are going on. This is also still being explored.

I do believe there are many secrets in the universe on our planet. The experience to stare at an ant or enjoy the caress of breeze will recall me the feeling of human beings' tiny. There must have many things we do not know. How wonderfull the world is !

I agree that there are still quite a few secrets that have not been discovered in the universe. The universe itself is mysterious to us humans. That's why so many people are trying to have adventures to discover more of it.

I really do not think that we have discovered one percent of what is out there. I doubt that we ever will in our lives. There is just so much out there that it could really make your head spin. I think that in about a thousand years, there will be much more uncovered. It is a shame that none of us will be around to see it.

On this planet itself, scientists are discovering new species. There is so much to be discovered under the earth and in the ocean. There are so many parts in the world, which are still not explored. We do not even know fraction about the other planets in our own solar system. We do not know what is beyond our solar system and in our galaxy. There are millions of galaxies. You are right there are still undiscovered secrets still unexplored in the universe.

Yes. Our planet and even our solar system is just a dot compared to the whole universe. And I don't think we have discovered every secrets that our planet have. Much more with the universe. I don't think I will live that long for humans to discovered everything that our universe can offer. But I'm hoping we discover something extraordinary soon.

hi,i do believe there are undiscovered secrets in the world. if this world is all plain and easy to be seen for all of us, there would not be so interesting and daunting. you see, that why we human beings are daunted for MAYA secret.
some secrets are about the past. some about the future...
