Off Fishing today with the family what do you do with your family on weekends?

Saturday morning here,dogs feed and watered,breakfast made and cleanup done. We look at each other, ok what to do today? I say lets go fishing. Everyone (my hubby, my daughter,her BF)jumps up "let's go" As I write this the guys are getting dressed getting ready to get the poles in the truck and off we go to catch the big one. Now mind you the girls outfish the guys almost everytime so it is not only about fishing but the gentle ribbing to the guys for them getting outfished by the guys. LOL What do you like to do with your family on the weekends? Do you stay home and enjoy a nice quite day, or do you try to stay active and do something fun together?

well during the weekends, we usually go to the mall, watch a movie and such and sometimes go to provinces to sightseeing and such.
we did fishing before but not with a boat where just in the shore.

Same here just off shore hopefully someday we can afford a boat.

hi trivera67 you caught me at a time when I am feeling blue, depressed and sort of angry at the whole world. I did not ever p lan on being in a
retirement center but it was supposed to be for just til my son got a job
yeah right only myson still has not got a job, and this week hes evidntley to broke to come see me, which hurts too as i gave him all the little money I have, he has just go to take any job he can get now. so no I and my son are our family and I sure as heck did not spend today with him at all sorry end of rant. Oh I would love to go fishing, go anyplace but here for awhile.

I am so so sorry Hatley that you are in a retirement center right now and I pray that it isn't much longer til your son gets a job and you can get out of there and be with him again. My heart goes out to you and I would if I could welcome you to come fishing with us or do anything just so you could get out of there and enjoy life again. I will keep you in my prayers and hope for the best for you. Please keep me posted on how things are going for you. If you don't mind I would love to add you as a friend so we can keep in touch.
