naveedrox,
While there is proven science that one can grow taller as written in the books by the legendary coach James “Doc” Counsilman, who was also the coach of the prolific swimmer Mark Spitz in his book "The Science Of Swimming".
However, you need to recognize the conditions and pre-qualifications attached to it, where it will include age where starting age will be taken into account here, the training involved, the individual ethnic heritage, nutrition and most of all sports related injuries.
Swimming is an all rounder exercise and as such it does help individuals grow not only in stamina, endurance but physical physique as well - including height. So, if you are still young and training I am sure you will notice it. You may even turn up taller than your parental heritage as a result.

Why would swimming make you taller? It will make you stronger, but usually puberty makes you taller...

I wish swimming did! :) Then I would jump in the pool right away. But I don't think so. :(

It really depends. Growth primarily is influenced by the genetic predisposition of the person. Second, it depends on the food you are eating. Eating calcium rich foods make your bones grow and make it more stronger. Another factor is age. You will stop growing when you are about 18-21 years old. So, if you are Swimming and your family is tall in nature, you are still 18 years old and below, and most of all you consume calcium rich foods, then you will have a big chance of being taller.

I swim a lot, but I don't really feel any taller. A lot of people say that they can tell if you are a swimmer or not by looking at your tan, how slim you are, and if you body is wide. I don't really know this stuff, but I hope this helps.

Swimming can make you slim. Be careful, a tan to your skin is a compliment. Taller, i don't think so. Its a whole body exercise so it will help you shed the extra fat in your body.

No I don't believe so. Whether or not you grow taller or shorter depends on your genes that you were born with. If you have tall parents or uncles on your moms side I think, then your more likely to go through a growth spurt possibly any where between 10-20... It all depends on family history... I don't think guys stop getting taller till they are about 30... but that I didn't learn in class my friend told me that lol.
