MESSI failed to score a Goal in their opening match-Argentina won 1-0

Gabriel Heinze's header helped argentina to mark their first win in 2010 world cup. Even though messi was the key player for them ,he was unable to score goal. He played well and got many chances ,but the Nigerian goal keeper made Messi's all effort in vain. Any way the header they got from the corner which was a result of messis shot.

Though Messi failed to score in the opener, I thought he still had a good game. The Nigerian goal keeper made some tremendous saves to keep Nigeria in the game. But the game was very good with chances at both ends. I think Nigeria also had a good game, jut that their finishing was poor. Cheers! Ram

Argentina lost the midfield battle, particularly veron who almost non existence in the first half.. only messi who sometime produce the magic we want to see.

Ya messi made some good shots on target ,but the Goalkeeper ,he is great
