Summer Vacation

What are you doing for your kids on their summer vacation? I remember when I was a kid I always visited my grandparents in North Carolina, where they spoiled me rotten!!lol. Do you do anything special for your kids during their summer vacay or do you leave it to them to find something fun to do on their own?

Hi, lala501. Right now, they will stay indoors and sometime during the end of this month, we will do something exciting together. I want to have a couple of weeks to relax from my son being in school for the long months. It is so hot outside to do anything right now. We probably will have a picnic together that would be very nice and fun.

aww that sounds nice. Yeah if I ever have kids I probably wouldn't jump right in to doing fun and exciting things for summer break to quick either.

I don't have kids, but I know that my mother is planning to send my sister to a summer camp this year. I heard it's quite fun and interesting in there, so I think it's a good choice.

Wow a summer camp? I remember for one summer I had cheer camp all summer it was nice and a great bonding experience for me and my teammates. I hope your sister has fun!

Oh really ? Are you still spoiled ? Ha ha ! Just joking. Please don't be mad ! North Carolina ! That would be a a nice place to spend the summer. I have been there a couple of times, and I very much enjoyed travelling around. I look forward to going there again ! Enjoy your summer ?

Yes North Carolina is a wonderful place to visit, I sometimes still go there. Do you have any kids? Maybe you can take them there for their summer break if you do.
