Where to find a high school yearbook?

I'm looking for a high school yearbook. When I was in high school the books sold for about sixty dollars. I could never afford a yearbook, so I never got one. Now I regret not getting one. I would like to look at it and look at the pictures and the names of people. I have been searching a little online but google keeps bringing me back to classmates. I have done a free trial of classmates but there are not many people from my high school on there and even less pictures. Hopefully I can find a yearbook online. I would like to even buy one if possible. So either looking at a yearbook online or buying one but it needs to be when I went to high school. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone know where I can find a yearbook online to look at or buy? Ideas? Thanks in advance.

Maybe you should try calling your high school to see if they have any; even if they don't have any to sell, the school library might have one you could look at. Also, the school could perhaps put you in touch with the publisher of the yearbook for the year you are interested in(I assume that would be your senior year) and they might have some or be able to print if you are not that long out of school and maybe everything was computerized. Of course if you no longer live where you went to school, going to the school to see the book may not be practical. The town library, if there is one, may have a copy of it too and again going ther may be a problem. According to your profile, you are still quite young so it seems to me that you would still be in touch with some people you went to school with and could at least look at one of their books.

I would rather not go to the school again. I might try the library or publisher, or schools website. I think once I get in touch with some old friends from high school, hopefully one of them will have a yearbook I could look at. I would like to buy one but I am afraid that I might not be able to. Well hopefully someone that I went to school with will have a yearbook. A lot of people in my school didn't have a lot of money and the yearbooks were expensive so I am a little afraid that none of them have yearbooks. I'm hoping that someone I know from school bought one though.

I think contacting your old school is your best bet. If they cant help you they may be able to point you in the right direction. Another idea may be a local library?

I never thought about the library. I might give that a try. Thanks.

I suggest you call the high school office and see what they advise. Next I would join Facebook and try to connect with several of your classmates. This might help you get the process moving along where you could contact one of your classmates and look over their yearbook. I wouldn't think the school district would have extra copies but guess it depends on your location and how many graduated your particular year. Good luck with your search, carolbee

I would start with a general search. You might find one on ebay you never know! Then I would try the school's website. It might turn up something. Especially if there is any kind of discussion board you might find one. Or just call the school maybe they keep old yearbooks..

I already tried a general search. I looked on ebay once but I might look again. I saw a few yearbooks but none from my high school. I did visit the school's website but it looked like they were only selling new yearbooks with the students that are going to school now. I might try the school website again. Thanks

I'm from a public school and we do not pay for our yearbook our municipal office were in charge of the expenses. I haven't got my yearbook yet for I was busy with my college studies and I don't have time to get it from our school.
