Ladies, and guys with long hair....

What are you doing with your hair now that it's summer and stepping out the front door feels like you've entered your stove with the heat turned full blast? Most of the time I have my bundled up and tied into a bun type with a pony tail holder, or I'll just put it back into a pony tail. But I'm older now and I'm thinking of going for the shorter hair cut. I'm not sure if I'm going to continue putting my hair up or go for the cut, but why don't you tell me all how you keep cool... THANKS!!

I wear mine short. It has grown so fast this time and is down in my eyes, it will soon get cut again.

My mother kept my sisters and my hair all kept pixie short and both of us have worn our hair long once we got to the age where mother wasn't challenged by it. I'm thinking, just this year, (and I'm in my 40's) of getting it cut shorter to stay cooler. But I'm wondering if I would regret this decision come this winter. If I cut it short, I can't do anything about it. If I leave it long and put it up, than I won't have any problems come this winter because I can just let it back down.

Ironic. When i was young, i could sit on mine. All the little girl tangles and pulling trying to brush it. It is fine. My mother got very sick and we had it cut short so my father could take care of it for me, and i have never regrown it.

i put it up in a bun,or in a pony tail, i tie it in pigtails sometimes too, almost everything that keep it off of my neck it's ok
