Success is important for everyone. However, it could mean different to different people.

Well I think so, success is defined as The achievement of something. This differs from person to person, for me sometimes I consider it to be a successful day to be able to get out of bed before noon. I think people would be pretty miserable if they thought they didn't have ANY success. It just depends on what the person thinks what success is.

Success is a feeling of achievment. Sometimes a person is contended thinking he has acheived everything and feels successful and sometimes a person thinks he has not been able to achieve success as he is unable to acheive what he wants. This is what I think about success

For some people it is, for some people it isn't. If the only way you are going to be happy is by being successful, then it is important that you try to accomplish that.
But not everyone wants to be successful, and success also means different things to different people, so we should never judge others based on the criteria we use for ourselves.

Case to case basis on how we give importance to the things that we are doing right now and from there you would feel that the success is already there. For me it is important factor not only with other career but of course with other aspects of life like having family, living in a good environment and it depends on how people define it.

How do you define successful? Different people have different kinds of opinion on that. I think definitely everyone wants to be successful in some way or other, be it at work, having a family, being respected, having wealth and status or just enjoying life to the fullest without having to fight for survival. Depends on what kind of values and attitude we have towards life.

Hey, that's a good question!
Looking at the history and culture of our country or Contient, it reveals people had very different goals and core values in their lives. In the past centuries people appreciated other values much higher than success or being successful. Success and being successful was not so important as it is today. These are quite recent ideas and are the products of our consumer society. That's the way we think about success: a successful person is who has a well-paid job, who is renowned in professional circles, who has reputation in his/her family, who leads a decent life, who has a loving spouse and nice kids, who possesses precious cars, houses, valuables, etc. Does it have anything to do with the success one wishes for him/herself at the bottom of his/her heart? How it comes there are so many unhappy people who do not feel successful despite their commodities and achievements they possess? They do not feel satisfied, they feel empty, they want something else.. Obviously such wordly goods will not feed the feeling of being successful for long. A new goal to achieve or a sudden failure may fade or disrupt all such achievements at once. What can turn one's life a success, what can make a person feel constantly successful?
For me the key is to be true to oneself. When you can say: "hey, it was difficult but it was worth doing it". I think one of the greatest gifts given to the people of the 21st century is the ardent desire for the growth of the soul. This is our biggest task and our souls are craving for growing and we feel unhappy as long as we do not understand this message.
