I really cut down a lot on meat and I'm eating LOTS more vegetables and fruit. I hardly every used to eat breakfast but now I am. My meals through out the day usually consists of some kind of veggie and fruit and nuts while the rest of my family has their ham sandwiches, hot dog or whatever. I don't think its fair to impose my diet change on them. Thing is that since this change I keep feeling hungry all the time. I never felt like this when I was all carnivorous like and I rarely ever snacked then. Right now as I'm typing this I can't stop thinking of sinking my teeth into something.

I agree... you're hungry. Eat something substantial. Meat is not all bad. If you're not eating a lot of nuts, your body may be craving the fat in meat and we need fat to survive. Also, if you're eating cooked vegetables, you may be eating a lot more carbohydrates, which make you feel hungry because your blood sugar drops within a short time of eating them. (After a blood sugar high)

I eat the majority of my veggies raw but yeah I never thought about that I might be craving meats. Every time I feel hungry I'm over here grabbing the carrots. Thanks for your response.

ok. i am agree with ms. peavey. you're hungry. but the something important the reason why we must eat. it' s not only fulfillment our want to eat. but the priority is your need to eats. because like the wise word eating to life not life to eating/ this point you must to understand your voyage to eat.

You are hungry. Your body craves foods of substance, like meats and carbs.
Your body may never feel satisfied. You aren't used to the quick change of diet. You eat much vegetation. Unless you drill yourself into this, then you will stay "hungry".
Beef jerky is the shizz.

are you kidding??? Beef Jerky is one of the best foods known to man! You should partake in its savoury ecstasy before you go all vegan on me

Some of it may be a lack of protein. You can get plenty of protein and still not eat meat. But you need eggs, nuts and beans. Then there's yogurt and other things that you can add in to your diet that will give you protein. Probably once you up your protein you'll feel better. as long as it's not just craving the white sugars and flours.. but it's one or the other probably!

Thank you. I'll try these things too. I sure won't be craving sugar too much. They tell you to avoid it and yet its everywhere.

once i went to doctor, i asked him that why i cant eat that and why i cant eat this... he said u can eat everything what u want but in limited manner... it does harm your health...
so we have to be limits in what we are taking

you are there, attention one of the problem is why much us want to eat everything. this is a big problem because much of us not to give a big attention to to our body . much of us just to give thing our stomach not to attention our need to eat. every person just to give the priority to our wants not to our needs. that make us just want to eat and eat more. and important point is our healthy. as much us possible we eat everything that can disturb our healthy

I think you're just really craving for hotdogs and meat. it happens to me. when i dont' give in to my cravings, my hunger never goes away no matter how much (alternative) food I eat. i just have to go find the food I'm going crazy for, eat it, then it's over. I could skip a meal or two as long as I satisfy my cravings.

lol I actually hate hot dogs. My dad and the kids love them. Hmm I guess I'll have to add a little more meat back in my diet then. Thanks for your response.

Hi, I applaud your efforts here but honestly we as humans need the protein a good old steak brings to our tummies.
A hot dog is ok as are ham sandwiches as long as you don't make them the basis of your diet.
Go ahead and eat something you are hungry for. Your body is telling you need what is asking for anyway.
Your health will suffer if you don't give your body what it asks for.
Do continue with the veggies and the fruit but round that off with a good piece of meat ever so often.
Good luck and enjoy food. It's a basis of life.
