Five Don'ts When You're Sleeping

Hello friends, last evening I got this in a forwarded mail, it is really useful and a bit funny, only the last line, hence I am sharing with all of you.
IT WAS AIMED AT LADIES.
1 - DON'T SLEEP WITH WATCH Watches can emit a certain level of radioactivity. Though small, but if you wear your watch to bed for a long time, it might have adverse effects on your health.
2 - DON'T SLEEP WITH BRAScientists in America have discovered those that wear bras for more than 12 hours have a higher risk of getting breast cancer. So go to bed without it.
3 - DON'T SLEEP WITH PHONEPutting the phone beside your bed or anywhere near you is not encouraged. Though some of us will use phones as alarm clocks, but please put the phone as far as possible. Scientists have proved that electrical items including mobile phone and television sets emit magnetic waves when used. These waves can cause disruptions to our nervous system. Therefore if you need to put your mo! bile phone near you, switch it off first.
4 - DON'T SLEEP WITH MAKE UP
People who sleep with make up might have skin problems in the long run. Sleeping with make up will cause the skin to have difficulty in breathing and problem in perspiring. You will also need a much longer time to go into deep sleep.
Lastly.....
5 - DON'T SLEEP WITH OTHERS' WIFE OR HUSBAND : You may never wake up again.
Do you find it of any use, I find #1, #3 useful, share your views.

Yes Sir, all these five points are important and to be well followed by all the people including women of the present day! 'Physical health', 'Moral character' as well as 'Human comfort' during the silent hours of sleep are equally important for people of all age groups! Sleeping, according to our scriptures, is interpreated as 'Yoganidra' i.e. the sort of Yoga that puts us in natural rest and revitalization! So importance of sleeping is to be understood by all for effective utilization of the sleeping hours!!
Thanks for this nice discussion and wish all readers nice and pleasant sleep always!!

Hi Professor2010, I appreciate you so generous and willing to share this mail with us here. I'm glad that I don't have the said 5 bad habits For I don't wear watch. I fell more relaxed and comfortable to sleep without bra. For the sake to prolong the lifespan of the battery I always switch off my cellphone before going to bed. Nowadays I never use any make up lol....It seems that the second and third ones are quite useful to female eh....
I couldn't help bursting out laughter after reading the last one Anyway it's not joke right?! If one is caught on the spot with other's spouse. Thanks again for the sharing
Take care and happy posting!

I could imagine how awkward the plight is if the couple is caught when carrying on a clandestine love affair in somewhere which is considered to be safe and .... It's fortunate that till now none of the people I know come across such undesirable event yet. What I could see are those happened in the stories in movies and tv series which I had watched.
Thanks for awarding the BR
Have a nice day

dear professor,
i do nos. 1, 2, and 4. it is fresher to feel that way - and free feeling.
sad to say that my cellphone is just beside me .. on top of my headboard. it is important that i am able to have access to it even during the night.
i laughed reading no. 5 - of course! it is a no-no. God said, do not cover thy neighbor's wife. that is law.
have a nice day.

This is great Sir.
I found #3 relevant to me, I always put my cell phone near to my bed so that I do not have to go to get cell when there is call. This is lazyness but after this discussion I am going to put my cell far from my bed, this is dangerous.
I like th 5th one as well, thats a real good suggestion and evry one should take care

Many years ago I visited a nutritionists and he decided to test me for various sensitivities that I had for food. He then tested me for sensitivities for environmental things and electricity wasn't something I responded very well too. He told me that I would be better with a wind-up watch rather than the battery one I was wearing and also to move my battery-operated clocks away from my bedside. He would definitely be against having a mobile phone close to me as I slept.
The result was that I removed all electrical and battery-operated items away from my bedside table and slept a good bit better.
I didn't even get a wind-up watch, but rarely wear my watch now unless I am going to be out somewhere and need to know the time.
Yes, I can fully see the problems of sleeping with somebody else's wife or husband! especially since they probably wouldn't be wearing a bar! _Derek

LoL, the last one was hilarious but it could be true... Anyway Yeah I think I can buy what you're saying here. I'm not sure if my beliefs are correct, but I believe in not sleeping with a bra and with a cellphone nearby. I'm not sure if watches have some real negative effect on the health, but I would not want to sleep with a watch anyway because it feels uncomfortable.

The points you are conveying are sensible and worth emulating.I think the point regarding cell phone is useful especially for the electro magnetic radiation. Most of the other points apply to ladies. But I've found my son having a cell beside him to serve as an alarm clock.I think this forewarns us of future hardships.

Ha ha!! I'd have to agree with every one of those points! I particularly agree with #3 . . . not for that reason, but because someone like your inlaws may call you at a ridiculous hour asking you ridiculous questions that could have waited til a decent time during the day!! Can you sense my frustration - hee hee.

The last one is really funny but true. It is also biblical in a way. I seldom use watch because I find it uncomfortable to keep especially while at the office. The computer allows you to see the time anyway. If I can't keep it during daytime, all the more at night time. As for the phone, I really use my phone as alarm clock and I am on-call so I need to have my phone beside me. It is something that I can not avoid until such time that I leave my present work.
