Hmmmmm. Whatta thought. It doesn't really scare me. Not that I shouldn't be, but it just doesn't (yet). I'm pretty positive about terrorism - there are many ways for the government to trace these people and track down whatever they're up to. But who knows, they just might outsmart the good guys one of these days... no use thinking too much about these things, there's nothing much we can do except play our part, become a good citizen, and pray. now back to cellphones, i personally think china phones are fine. considering the price and the features they offer..

Speaking of security threat, all mobile phones can be used for terrorism, not only China phones. Being a cellphone technician, I don't recommend China phones to my friends and customers, not for the reason of security or terrorism, but for the reason that China phones are poor in quality. Replaceable parts for servicing China phones are hard to find, and you find them, they are poor in quality or defective. There's a joke going around here, among cellphone technicians, that if we encounter China phones that need servicing, the best advice we can give to the owner is, go secure a passport and Visa, fly to China and buy the needed replacement parts there!

I believe that china phones and mostly many phones in the market can't be tracked down as well. Yes, they are very cheap but there are also many cheaper phones which are not china phones. I believe that any mobile phone or device could be used in terrorist activities but china phones could be mainly used because they are cheaper. Maybe there is no real security threat for that.
