We all know that our country is suffering and we need a miracle for us to be progressive as a country and for our leaders to do their jobs so our economic problems will be eradicated. Aside from being a good citizen in this country do you also include in your prayers that our country will be a better place?

YES. We include it in our prayers especially during the Ondoy's time and during the elections. We prayed that the Ondoy victim can recover soon and we'll have a peaceful election. We believe that praters can move mountain. We encourage everyone to say a prayer everyday for our country even a short one and do their part on making our country a better place to live in. Little things matter in the long run. We can contribute in our own special way.

I am with you. Prayers really do wonders that is why we should not underestimate the power of our little prayers for our country. If we have faith that major changes could happen and if couple it with good actions then who knows, great things might happen.

To be honest, I rarely include our country to be a better place in my prayers. I feel that for it to be a better place, it's the people in it who needs to act. I'm doing my part by being a good father to my daughter, a good husband to my wife, a good son to my parents, and a good citizen for my country.

Like you there are really times that I forget to include our country in my prayers that's why I make it a point to always remember to say a little prayer for our country and who knows what might happen.

Hello Caliya, I believe we don't need to wait for the miracle, to be honest we are the MIRACLE if we make the decision to help or give our lives to the country. not necessarily dying for the country but live for the country. Gordon said it once - Change begins with us, prayer is good but we also need to work the effort in bringing the country together not just in the hands of the government, ngo's, civil societies and groups but also us ordinary Filipinos. But sometimes i do pray for the country.

You have a point, prayer helps but we need to do our part as good citizens of our country that's why I stressed out in my question above "aside from being a good citizen" but yes everyone should do their part for the progress of our country.

sometimes I pray for the Philippines but then prayer will be useless if the people will not do their part and will just sit and wait for something to happen. But still our leaders need prayers because that's the least thing we can do for them aside from doing our own thing to change the country and being a disciplined citizen of the country.
