Would you write your innermost thoughts in an internet blog?

I read a lot of blogs from so many internet writers. Their blogs are some kind of personal journals or diaries about how they think about a situation, a desire, an activity, or even how they view a person, a teacher perhaps, or even a prospective sweetheart. I was amazed at how easily they wrote their innermost thoughts. I especially felt for a man who fell in love with a woman just to find out, weeks later, that she was already involved with a common friend. Sigh! And to think how he would carefully prepare afternoon tea just for her after their long walks.

Sometimes its easier to talk to people you don't know personally. Apparently these bloggers like to get things off their chest.
I really don't see any harm in it at all. The internet is impersonal and anonymous. No one knows who these bloggers really are unless they choose to tell people.
If it feels good, go for it.

Partially I would say no, why because it will be embarrassing for me to share every incident happened in my life into my blog. I will always be ready to share my happiness as it spreads joy to others too but not sorrowful moments. So my views is the blog is not a place to witness your innermost thoughts go public. Tell those to someone whom you would trust not to the entire world.

Aww that's sad. I have my own blog, though even if it is really to let out my emotions and my opinions on what is happening in my life, I admit, I still censor whatever I write there, and I always think about who would be able to read it, and just to make sure that I don't hurt anybody.

I think it will be better if the blogger uses a fake name, a pen name or something esle to vague their real identity. I do this myself. Creat a new name for myself so that no one around me will recognize it is my blog. And I write all kinds of innermost thoughts and thinking in the blog. I feel fantastic about writing this things, for it is just like talking to myself. I even try to keep a track of my dreams in my blog. And I have been told by one of my psychologist teacher that this is an excellent and economical way of self healing.

I have never written a blog or even read one. If it makes people feel better to do that i think that's a good thing.

no, i won't. i do have blogs, one is private and one is for everyone to read. but the public one, it's all shallow things.
all my innermost thoughts are written in a sheet of paper, kept in a locked drawer somewhere. hehehe..

Hi eileenleyva. I have a couple of times written my innermost thoughts on my blog. It is my only way to unload what I have inside me that has been bogging me. I know that by doing so, I will be able to feel better. On the other side, we should also be careful for sometimes it involves people we know. Not only in blogs do I get to write my thoughts but also on shout outs on social networking site.
I did that yesterday and one relative got to read it. It does not concern this person at all but this person immediately called me and said to me that what I did was totally uncalled for.
There were some hurtful words that was said to me. I wish I could answer back but at that time I felt it will not be helpful. I do know in my heart that what I did was the right thing to do at that time for it is the only way that will help the person involved to realize the destructive consequences of one's action.
Hahaha, there you go again, I am writing my innermost thoughts. Well.....

Hello there,
I am lazy when it comes to this. i used to write stories in my diaries but after a day or two i just stop and bounces back after a year or two. blogs is all about writing about your life everyday and talks about issues here and there. before It was considered a trend for On-line Earning, it was just diary.
as for that person, life can be unpredictable, as so has happened to this guy. it's hard to determine if relationships has a good or bad end point. there is no assurance.

Hello Eileen!
I think that's what a blog is all about in the first place. You can see its definition on the net. It is an online diary.
It's the person prerogative, the one who made the blog, if she/he wants to share their deepest thoughts and feelings. If they are a private person they wouldn't like to publish it. It's their own way of expressing themselves.
