Has a television show ever moved you to tears?

The final year of ER was heart-wrenching from week to week. I have never cried over a television show before but this just did me in. There is also a new Canadian Swat team show where one of the officers was standing on a land mine, called his Mom and Dad before lifting his foot. Oh my God!!! I cried like a baby. Good thing my family had gone to bed and didn't see my reaction although my spouse cries over American Idol. Ha

Yeah well I've never really cried in a show but in some movies I was about to because of how emotional the thing was :)

Are you kidding there is a list. Grey's Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, Private Practice, Deperate Housewives. Also, American Idol when someone is singing and performin such a powerful song, it will bring me to tears just like that. I'm sure there are other shows but I can't think of them at this time. I'm one that use to cry at commericals like the Hallmark Card commericals.

The reality shows of children.I really feel bad when they are voted out and i see them in tears.Specially the children who come from slums. The prize money does matter to them a lot.

tough to work out.
there's been the odd few moments I can think of, like in the office, when Dawn opens the art stuff she got in the secret santa from Tim, and goes back to him. that's a special moment, and very touching.
a classic TV moment that gets a lump in the throat of most people is the last episode of blackadder goes forth. basically, it's a comedy, but that last scene is really poignant.(sp?) as they go over the edge of the trenches, and it fades to a field of poppies.
one that really sticks with me though, and not from a series, is from a one off programme about Sean Ellis, who lived in with the wolf pack at a wildlife park.
there were the cubs that were being hand reared, and the scene where he was teaching them how to howl absolutely gave me goosebumps. the tiny little cubs and their first, squeaky, shaky attempts at proper grown up howling. it was absolutely beautiful.

well, yes. It happens to be a reality tv show in my case too. Extreme Home Makeover. The stories of the participating families are just so sad sometimes, and I love how their life changes in such a great way at the end of each episode!
