Dance styles you like / myLot

I thought it would be nice if we would all share what dance styles we like. I personally like all dance styles but my heart goes to following styles: Hip-hop including: popping, locking, tutting, breaking, jerking. At the moment I want to practice and perfect in popping style, I'm kind of new to it. What dance styles you like most ?

Hm, reading by the title led me to think about Tango, Waltz, Salsa... Apparently you are talking about dances of the Youth. Sorry, I don't dance. I just move my body along with the music.^^

By the way, do you know what that pink or gold star on our name represents? I have pinky with number 6 in it. You have a gold one with number 8 in it.

There is a new discussion about the star rating, still it does not answer our question. Apparently there are pink, silver, gold, blue and red. Who can tell us?

I was a dancer for 15 years. It was part of my life and i felt as if i couldn't live without it. Now taht i havent done is in about 8 years it would be hard to get back into it, but one days i want to get back into it. I liked lyrical and now they don't even have that type and use contemporary dance instead which is different in ways. I like the ballet of it all as i really liked that the most while in dance, but i did like my jazz classes a lot as well. If i could learn hip hop i would enjoy that a lot i think, it doesn't look that hard and if you have the rhythm i think you can do it i like going to clubs but not with people that go their to get drunk.

Good dancing requires practice, practicing in the mirror then go out in a club and dance.

I danced hip hop for 7 years so i like it the most but i also like break dance and electric. Don't like step and latin dance.

For me the best dance style is Salsa and also zive.I do free style dance but i am really looking forward to learn Salsa the postures are so straight and perfect in this form of dance.

I like break dance as a generality. The martial art Capoeira is heavy on dance. I also like (street) jazz influenced dance.
