What is the funniest story you have ever heard?

When I was 27 I attended a junior college as a freshman. I think I was the oldest Freshman on campus. I went on an expedition with my Natural Sciences professors and eleven other students, mostly young men. The youngest of these was only 17 and very full of himself. One of our stops was at Challis Hot Springs where we camped for the night and enjoyed the pools. The campground where we stayed had two pools. The outside pool was cooled down so slightly warmer than a swimming pool while the undiluted pool was housed in a shed. After romping in the outdoor pool, I went into the shed to soak in the hot water. Unlike most of the students, I was an experienced hot-springer. There were three of the other guys huddled together in the corner of the pool whimpering, "don't move the water". I eased in and was swimming around when this cocky 17-year-old came in and asked me how the water was. I said "Great! Come on in!" Now any experienced hot-springer knows you ease into the water. This kid jumped in! I was dying, it was so comical. I never saw anyone get out of the water so fast in my life! I remember the heat of the water sapping my strength as I struggled to catch my breath when he turned on me and shouted, "That isn't even funny!" Which, of course, only made me laugh harder! This is one of those stories that my daughter never tires of hearing now. I still chuckle when I remember the look on his face as he bolted out of that water.

P.S. I did tell him, "I didn't say to JUMP in!"
