Being successful at Lowes

I have been at Lowes home Improvement for 3 years. The store I am at now has gone thru 4 store managers in 16 months. I am thinking it wil be hard to move up in the company and stay there after what has happened. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My mother in law has been with Lowes here in Kansas for about 3 or 4 years. She has moved up to Garden Manager. Her boyfriend is a department manager also. And he has moved like 4 different places in the United States. They both seem to be slowly moving up. They do get new managers often. I guess it's easy to relocate with them. So maybe more people do it more often, including managers. I think at any big company if you put in lots of hard work and show your leadership skills you can move up.
