How often do you say "I love you" to your dad?

Saying " I love you" is one thing my dad taught us without having to feel ashamed or corny. It is a part of our daily conversation...during phone call, text messages or if someone is leaving the house.

I wish I could tell my dad I love him. I know I didn't tell him often enough when he was alive. I wish I had the chance to tell him now.

My dad is the same way. He always said that a real man isn't afraid to show his emotions, especially to his family. Both my parents taught me never go to bed or leave the house without saying it because you never know what will happen to make you wish you did. I love my dad so much and can't wait to see him on Father's Day.!

i say it on special occasions. i've never been the type who says i love you very often to parents or to anyone. i don't know why. i'm more of a doer than a sayer. God knows I love these people, even though I don't say I love you that much.

Let just say im quite envy with you and your dad because you always say to each other " I Love You" or as part of your conversation as well because i never and never in my life that i tell the word "I Love You"to my dad.But for me saying "I Love You" is not enough it should be shown in action and expressive fellings to tell your dad how much you love him. So even if i haven't tell my father the word "I love You" he always know how much I love him.

Hi there Madonna 22! You're right. I learned through the hard way that whenever a chance comes, you should always grab it to tell and show your loved one how much you love them because you'll never know what tomorrow may bring. I am rarely able to tell my father how much I love him since he live somewhere really far away and he doesn't have a cellular phone now.
