Different Genre's of Music

Well friends this might be a simple question but this is what is bugging me snce ages... there are many Genre's of Music... Can you please list out the types of Music... There are many categories of music like rock, pop, etc... so please list what every you know... more over under what genre does the every green classic "Every night in my dreams" (titanic), Celine Dion comes....
no need of elongated answers...

major genre's includes, rock, pop, rnb/hip-hop, jazz, reggae, country..
celine dion's music are generally pop, some are country..her song "my heart will go on" is a pop song categorize more specifically as a "love song"..

I think the song you are referring to would and should be classified as a ballad.
Besides the genres you mentioned, I would also add punk, heavy metal, electro, jazz, classical music, folk music, blues, r n b, hip hop, country and several others as genres, but it is actually not always clear, believe it or not!
