The Nano challenge 2010, a drive in the cheapest production car in the world, kicked off from Chandigarh on February 28 this year. This drive will see two Tata Nanos make their way from India all the way to London. The adventurous venture is part of a charitable initiative undertaken by IDEALS, the International Disaster and Emergency Aid with Long term Support. The two Nanos personally owned by Richard Cruttenden from UK's Gearbuld Shipping Company, will be driven from Chandigarh via Agra to Mumbai, from where they will be shipped to Dubai. The team will then drive across the Arabian Gulf to Iran and then on to Europe via Istanbul, Paris, Dieppe and Newhaven, to finally end their journey at the iconic Trefalgar Square in London. The team of drivers aims to clock over 11,000km on the odometer.
