What is the criteria you use while looking for jobs? How important is the location? what about the money? Is Job satisfaction in itslef a criteria? Are you looking for online jobs too?

I'm looking for a job in retail because that's what I'm qualified and have experience for, the location is very important because I can't drive and don't want to have to travel far on public transport when it's too dark. As long as it's minimum wage that's fine, I don't look for online jobs but I do search online for offline jobs.

Not a degree, it's a Vocational Qualification. The driving thing is a "catch 22", In order to learn to drive I would need to pay for driving lessons etc, but in order to pay for things I would need money and in order to get money I would need a job, but the best jobs are far away and would require me to drive, which takes me back to the beginning.

You did a degree in retail business? You should learn driving. It is very tough without that in this country at least. Yes, I am also looking for a offline job. Although I dont mind making a few bucks online.

I will be looking for work the starting of next year. Before I moved to SC,USA I had been working at a hospital and had worked there for 20 years so was able to retire but am still to young to withdrawl my retirement. I then got a job here in SC at this one company but they eliminated my position so not working. My hubby has a good job and insurance so we are okay but I like to work to get out and be around the people. I also have a lil business of making jewelry that brings in a lil money but it doesn't get me out much...lol
