what are mylot levels?

i went into mylot make extra money discussions and noticed at the bottom they had profiles and next to them like level 16 20 ect what is this? and i also had a mylot reward come through that said i earned a penny where is this popup from? how did i earn it? how do i get to these levels and what does it mean once i get them? any info would be great! thanks
