The other day, My friends sitting in my car, and we all go to restaurant to have dinner. One of them obviously is a smoker, and I won't mind my friend actually smoking in my car, as long as he open the windows. I guess he left the pack of cigarette in the passenger side, and I didn't notice it. Yesterday, I drove my mom for grocery shopping, he saw that cigarette, and scold me for smoking secretly. I got a long lecture from her along the way. No matter how many times I explain to her, I never smoke, and it is not mine. She thought I was lying or something. Maybe I am not trustworthy in her opinion. Oh well, I let it be then.

too bad your mom doesn't trust you that much. this could be a bit childish, but you could ask your mom to call your friend to verify the story. since you're telling the truth there's no need to speak with your friend first. ask your mom to call him directly. although, your mom could think you talked to him already. this would have worked if you were able to do this during your initial discussion.

Well, I don't care. I already done my explanation, and I can't waste another breathe to explain more. What else can I say then. I didn't smoke, and the truth is I didn't smoke.
