can you find true love online?

I think many lonely people turn to the internet to find love...
But is it possible to do so when the person you are meeting and talking to live maybe thousands of miles away! How can you tell that you can even get along with someone without even seeing their ways!
Have any of you guys found "The one" on an online site?

YES YOU CAN!!! I met my husband online. As strange as it sounds, I fell in love with him the first night I met him. From the first word he said to me, I knew he was my one TRUE LOVE!!! When he left the group that night I said to myself "I'm going to marry that man." I then laughed as he lived over 3,000 miles away from me & I felt that we'd never get to meet each other. After about 2 years of talking online & talking on the phone, he moved to the town I live in & 2 months later we were married. I don't recommend this for everyone as it could be VERY dangerous if you meet the wrong person. I know I was lucky!!! I felt comfortable as his stories NEVER changed in any discussion for 2 years. I paid close attention to every story he told me. If his words had changed much during that time, I would NOT have invited him to move here. Do NOT take my life as a reason to screw up yours!!!
