Oklahoma Abortion Laws: Anti-Abortion or Anti-Woman?

Background: A (relatively) new set of abortion laws in Oklahoma requires any woman wishing for an abortion (regardless of whether she is a victim of rape or incest) to undergo a sonogram (possibly transvaginal) while forced to watch the screen and listen to a detailed description of the fetuses developmental state. The law also allows doctors to withhold information about any birth defects and shields women from taking legal action against them for doing so. This law applies to ALL women, regardless if they are getting an abortion or not.

This is going to far...
Anyone who is not mentally stable enough to handle with dealing with being raped..
and knows they can not support a child...
The last thing they need to do is to be forced to sit through all of that..
If I was in that situation.. I'd feel like punching the State of Oklahoma in the face..
This choice comes between the mother, and the doctors...
But in the end it is the Mothers Body that the child is being carried in..
and I don't care what any law anywhere says, that mother should have a right to decide if her body is allow to carry a child or not.
I do not want to ever carry a child in my body..
I do wish people would consider option instead of abortion..
But on the other hand.. if I ended up pregnant at this time in my life..
By a Rape.. the last thing I would want is to be forced into a sonogram, let
alone forced to carry the child the entire term .. And make a traumatic experience.. even more traumatic ...
I'd be a very ticked off oklahoma person...
And for a person to go through all that and then find out they are slapped in the face with raising a child they are unable to raise do to disabilities etc..
If the doctor has a right to tell a mother and withold that information...
Becareful oklahoma those doctors may steal the rest of your right to motherhood if they get their way...
This is pathetic.. I do not believe abortion should EVEr be used as birthcontrol or forced.. and I do believe Mothers need to really seriously think and consider before having one.. But.. In the end forcing people through a procedure like this..
in my eyes is about as a bad as forcing them through a forced medical molestation...
