How to get more readers from blogging?

I recently set up a blog an am doing a sort of unique one. It is sort of like a story and such. For example, I am telling a story about a person who gets a job writing blogs. I will continue on to update it and write more. How could I get viewers for my blog. Some tips would be useful. Thank you.
