I think, it would be better to tailor yung resume on the type of job you want to get into. You just need to highlight your accomplishments from you previous work and also indicate the trainings that you've attended especially those generic trainings that could help you perform your next job effectively and efficiently.

First Before you Apply for a Job , Just be sure in Which Field you want to move over. Now just do a SWOT study of it (Strengths,Weakness,Oppurtunity,Threats) .
check over your strengths that suits the field you are planning to move to .Find out your weaknesses which would not help you out or favour you in that field .
What Oppurtunities that the new field offers over your current one . Try to ascertain how it would elevate your career .
The Threats that may arise out of your shift . By Threats , i do not mean just physical ones , but also mental one and situations that may shake your stability . For Example , it may involve high amount of physical work than your present one , that may not be suitable for you .
After you are done with it , Now take your Resume .
Project your Strengths that would help your prospective employer could use in his business . Try describing your weakness as well ,though indirectly and make sure you impress him on you overcoming that . If you feel not to include that , then it's your choice.
Tell the Oppurtunities that your employer offers and how they provide growth for you as well as your employer . It will show you are keen do work with him and would make a great employee.
Lastly Don't try to emphasize your weakness much , but rather tell him how you are planning for it . For example , You are undergoing new Trainings to be in sync with the technology that they work on .
After you prepare your resume , just show it to your friends and people in the industry ,how it looks.
If all's well then upload your resume to job portals and try for a job.
Last but not least - Be confident of what you do !!

Firstly, at what field are you interested in applying for? What do you think are the qualities that you've learned and have been applying as someone working for a semiconductor company.
A good example would be, if you're applying for a manager or something then you could stress the importance of paying attention to details working for a semiconductor company, or something like that.
Though, I am quite confused as to why you'd like to shift into another field. It would be tough really, but not impossible. Just stress on your abilities that would help you or show you that you have an edge over other applicants in that field that you would like to apply.
Good luck!

It's good to tailor your resume around the kind of work you are applying for and make sure to tie in your previous experiences that are relevant to this job. Employers like to see transferrable experience.
