Good ways to spice up my resume?

I am looking to spice up my resume, but don't have a lot of time for additional activities. I would like to do charity work but I live in the middle of nowhere and don't have a ton of time for it. I was wondering if there were some ways to donate my time online.
What are some other ways I could spice up my resume?

tipsyflash, leave your resume exactly as who you are and what you have done. If you spice it up, it might come in too strong for the employer's taste.
