Do you do mylot during office hours?

I do a lot of mylot during office hours. This is the only time I can spend in mylotting and be productive here. I don't have much of a work in the office. often, i can finish my deliverables in the 1st 4 hours of my shift. The wee hours left were spend talking most of the time with my colleagues and eating outside. Since I am saving money, i'm spending those times here in my lot. Usually taking time to post at least 10 quality posts and stop.

Same here. I am at work and currently doing a very repetitive task. I was supposed to get some co-op students to do this for me, but they're not here yet. I was told that one will start reporting tomorrow. So, in the meantime, I am stuck doing this myself. Boooooring! I just mylot to refresh my mind, or to procrastinate...

There is a lot of downtime during my day. Well not a lot of downtime, but there is some times where I have absolutely nothing to do. Therefore, if I have nothing constructive that needs to be done, I pop over to myLot. I can rattle off a couple of posts before I have to get right back to work. It sure beats mindless staring at the ceiling, doesn't it? Plus, it keeps me sane during the day. There are times where I need to channel something that I am feeling into writing. Therefore, I continue to pop on here whenever I can. It is just a part of my day. It allows me in many ways to take a breath and continue with my day. I'm tend to feel a bit better after I have rattled off a couple of posts. Only during the downtime though, I'm never on here when I'm actually supposed to be dong something else.

Yes i do..lol i do teach and when i have vacant.... im always in mylot... i think theres nothing wrong with it...as long as it doesnt really affects your work... :)lol

I also doing the same . Am also having the same experience.I think this is a very good way to take relax when we are suffering some risk with our work.The time that am spending with mylot , giving me more courage to face the world with out any hesitation.

Good for you that you can mylot at work, for us in our offic, our internet is restricted so we can only open sites which we need in work, so unfortunately, I only open mylot when I'm home or if it's my dayoff.

I am like you also. I participate here at mylot during mylot also. I work for customer service and it is operated somewhat like a call center. So sometimes during my down time I check out a few discussions and post. Getting a break from irate, irritable customers is needes sometimes. i find it kind of fun to read all of the post during the day. It certainly makes the day go by faster. Well good luck on your mylotting, just don't get in trouble at work!

sometimes for short periods of time. i dont work that many hours so, i am usually busy with work.

Not me unfortunately. :o Not that I would :) But it'd be nice to have the opportunity. I'm so sleepy when I get home at the end of the day. It's good for the soul to curl up with MyLot and read what the rest of the world has to say. I wish I had found this site sooner so that I wouldn't go directly to sleep each day! :) Have a great one!

if only.. i would love to have access or participate here everyday even when i'm in the office but too bad.. we're not allowed to access any other sites/application aside from the client's. i sometimes get bored and there;s nothing to do but stare my monitor for hours. really sucks. if only we have internet access..

There is something wrong with my legs now so that I can't go out easily.Thus nowadays doing mylot has become one of my ways to kill spare time.So this issue is not in the domain of mine to worry about right now.But I think I won't doning mylot during office hours at work in the near future porobably.In my opinion,if you wrok has lots of free time and adequate freedom ,that's OK to do so on condition that your boss can tolerate your behaviour.However,my job is filled with emergency and heavy assignments ,thereby I even have no time to skip any website which is not correlative about my job.Unfortunately ,I am too tired and busy to do mylot at work.:(

I cant do as it is blocked in my office, such posting sites are blocked and there is no possibility to use mylot though i wanted, guys I am becoming addict.

Sadly MyLot is block in my office so I don't get to post here in MyLot. But if it is not block then I will definitely post even in office hours. So what I do is do the posting as soon as I came home. I allocate about an hour or 2 to post here in mylot. Or if I can I'll just leave some new discussions before I go to my work.

Honestly, when I'm at work and there's not much to be done, I post on mylot. It helps remove stress. It makes me think and it helps my mind work especially when I'm too tired. It's a good thing that at the office, nothing is restricted. We have unlimited access to the internet and unrestricted as well. I grab this opportunity while I'm at work. Besides, there are days when we don't have projects or tasks to be done.
