Being burgled

Would like to know whether anyone here experienced a burglary?
How did you feel and what precautions did you take afterwards?

I think I've been a victim of burglary once. In this case, burglars didn't break into my home, they broke into my shed and stole some tools from there. Shortly after that, I bought a new lock and fortified the windows, to make breaking in harder for the burglars. Since then I haven't had any problems with burglars.

Yes, any kind of theft is unpleasant. I wish some people would just be good in this world instead of steal from others and give them grief.
