I agree. "Meager" is always used to mean deficient salary. But kakarampot can also mean translated as tiny, minute and other adjective to mean "very small" or "insufficient" can be used.

Whoa!!! The last sentence should have been written: But "kakarampot" is also translated as tiny, minute and other adjective that means "very small" or "insufficient". I mean to edit it but I hit the "post comment" tab accidentally.

Actually in financial terms its better to use "De minimis" income but I want it to be clearer for better understanding of other readers. Hhhmm.. Insufficient is quite good! ^_^ "You won't get rich by only depending on your insufficient fixed salary... You need variable sources to improve your financial status!"

You won't get rich with your low fixed income, you need to expand yourself for more variable/viable sources of income.

Thanks mrfdg1972! I think I'll do it this way: "You won't get rich by only depending on your fixed income, you need variable sources to improve your financial status!" Its still better to read in Tagalog! Agree?hehe...

Come on buddy, your English is a lot better than mine, why did you have to ask for a translation. I totally agree with your Statements.

The proper translation is "measly". The online dictionary further lists the meaning of measly as "contemptibly small".
