22 percent approval rating for a governor. Gee, what can be done to help THAT? Arizona Governor made a HUGE leap. She pushed and passed legitimate comprehensive immigration legislation for her state. SB1070 She not only passed this legislation, but she is calling out the Washington darlings that are bad mouthing it. Including her predecessor Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, United States Attorney General Eric Holder and the Prez himself Barry Obama! She removed her own Attorney General, Terry Goddard, from the case. Who, by the way, is running against Brewer for the Governor's Mansion. Her approval rating jumped 16 points right after signing the bill. Now the country is torn. Many people from all around the US agree with the law. But places like California are trying to boycott Arizona, yet 51% of them agree with the law. Then they realized they get their power from Arizona (oops) lmao. People even went so far as to boycott Arizona Ice Tea. Yep thats right - Arizona Ice Tea. Psst it is NOT made in Arizona, who knew? People are talking/debating/complaining and have no idea that the Arizona law mirrors current Federal Law that is not being enforced. Obama is gonna "fix it" Yikes! Do you want to see your state go in the direction of Arizona? Or do you disagree with the law. I know I have posted about this before but that got deleted, so back by popular demand!

I'm a proud Texan but for the first time in my life, I am ashamed that Texas was not the first to pass a law such as this. I am super proud of Arizona and their Governor and it's people. They are really taking a beating from the Liberal main stream media and the Federal government itself and yet they are able to stay strong and expose the liberal leaders for what they really are. It's funny how most of them have not even read the law in it's entirety...but they "certainly know of it." It just goes to show how closed minded these "open minded" people really are.

I know right? You'd think Big Bad Texas would've been the first to pull something like that. lol. Oh, well. It still makes me proud to know that there are still people on the local levels of Government who have not completely lost their minds. I think it's pretty much the local state governments that are going to be the last line of defense for the American People against the Federal Govt. That, and Conservative Talk Radio.

Well, Laglen, I'm glad you asked....I really wish they would get rid of all the illegals here in Florida because they found the Mexican Mafia alive and well and doing business here in central Florida not too long ago.

We have them here and they are clogging our courts and prisons. By the way, their criminal activity has been accelerating.

Heck yeah I'm all for this law, and I wish more states would adopt simimlar laws.. especially my own state! It isn't fair that anyone should live here illegally, take work away from legal citizens, and food and money away from legal citizens. I bet you most people living legally in Arizona are much happier now that so many illegals have fled the state. As you mentioned recently, the schools are becoming less crowded.. there are probably more job openings. I read an article complaining that the economy would suffer after the state loses these immigrants.. but if you think about it, since an illegal citizen can't get legitimate work anyways, how can they be contributing to the economy much? I think it's an all around good thing. If you want to live in this country you'll do it the right way, by becoming a citizen just like our ancestors did.

I think you know where I stand. And we might get something like the Arizona Law if Suzana Martinez (R) becomes our next Governor. I know she's promised to stop giving drivers' licenses to illegals, but let's hope she goes further. (What do you mean Arizona Tea isn't made in Arizona...you know I've never looked...always just assumed...)
