online shopping

I love shopping online yes but it does have it own advantages and disadvantages. For me it has always been a wonderful experience. There is a website in India called Homeshop18 which really gives you huge discounts and their products are great. I do most of my shopping from them and I do get gift vouchers also from them for shopping.

I love online shopping.. But I only do it with the sellers that I truly known. But if not then i'll just check the feedback from their previous customers.. :)

Sometimes, I do shopping online but not thru credit cards. I'm afraid of online scammers. Last month, my friend told me that she received her credit card statement with unusual transactions listed and it costs almost US$500. Scammers are everywhere. So, please be careful in using credit cards. NEVER send money, or give credit card or online account details to anyone you do not know and trust.

I do it, and I love it! First of all, a lot of the times it is actually cheaper than buying stuff in offline stores, and if you buy stuff online you can get so many things that are not available where you live. And as long as you check the sites properly before placing an order, there is really nothing to be scared of security-wise either.

Online shopping is convenient, but sometimes risky. Especially when it comes to those times that are needed to be tested first to see if it's working or not. I've bought a book through online bookstore before, but i did not use my credit card, used some other payment method.

The only places I do it from are like from big retailers such as gamestop, Radioshack, etc. and from ebay. I do it because sometimes they have exclusive prices, they have exclusive items that you wont be able to find in stores, and because you don't have to leave the house! I am sort of afraid every time I press the checkout button though, since i tend to get really paranoid about me filling something out wrong such as shipping address or something that will keep things from going smoothly. Everything has gone well, except for a few items that I've bought from ebay sellers. One time I bought a book from some seller with a low rating and well, turned out to be a bad idea! I never received my book and had to get my money back by filing a paypal claim. The other times was when I bought a gift for my mother. It said the shipping should take about a week or two but in fact it took 3 and a half weeks. Other than that I am a big fan of online shopping! I just really wish I had the money to do it though...
