Do you prefer to shop alone or with other people?

I know that a lot of people (especially girls) like to shop in groups, or with friends, or with other people, but I have never been like that. I prefer to shop alone, since it helps me focus, and I can get the stuff I need done quicker. Also, going alone prevents me from having to go to stores I don't really care for, which is harder if you go with a friend who insists on going to a certain store.
What do you think? What do you prefer when it comes to shopping?

I never shop alone because you just never know what is going to happen

It's best just to go with another person. It's just a safety caution. Thanks puccagirl for responding back to me. I enjoyed our little chat.
Take care

What do you mean? Are you scared of accidents or something like that, or not being able to make a decision when it comes to something you are about to buy?
I am a bit confused here, as you can see. But thanks for your reply, I appreciate it!

Yep, way better to go alone. That way you can take as long as you like, and not have to get opinions on why you shouldn't get the thing you picked out, and on why you should get the thing they picked out, haha.

True, true! I hate when people do that! I like what I like, you like what you like, stay out of my business!, kind of. But some people just do not get it!

I agree. Whenever I bring someone shopping, they are like 'oooh! This is so cute, you should try it on!" And I'm like 'Ew. That thing is hideous. No way!" I try it on just to stop their pleading, but I utterly hate it. I like picking out the stuff I like, not what they like.

I prefer shopping with my husband or a friend or my daughters. It is useful taking my daughters along, as they will honestly tell me if the clothes look okay on me or not. My husband isn't very knowledgable about fashion, so just says most things are okay on me, so we can hurry up and get home!!

Yes, I know what you mean, I hate going shopping with boys, they usually ruin the experience completely. And you have two! Haha! Just kidding, but boys are not made for shopping I think...

No, a lot of people are like that I am sure. I would never go to a restaurant or the movies alone, it is the same thing really, just with different things!

I know what you mean, you want to go to certain stores whereas maybe they don't like it, and you feel guilty about staying too long in one store as they would have wait for you. I tend to shop alone, when I just need to buy what I need, I would just see it as a chore, and just get it done. Whereas if I was to go shopping, I would go out with my friends and spend time with them just browsing and walking around not necessarily needing to buy and I can just concentrate on spending quality time with them and if we come back with some souveneirs then it's a bonus! :)

For me, I think it often depends on what I am going to go buy and the amount of time I have to do so. Also since a lot of my time now shopping is online a lot of that is spent alone unless there is certain things that I need my husbands advice on as well. But when going out somewhere and doing some shopping I think a lot of times I do prefer shopping with other people when in stores unless there is certain things I am only wanting to buy.

I am an "alone" girl. I like getting what I want with no hassle. Go in, get it, get out.

Personally, I prefer shopping alone. I find it just easier to do the things that I need or want to do. And I can stay for as long as I want. When I want to leave I can leave. But at the same time, I don't mind going shopping with friends. I do have fun when I do this with them. I am certainly not against the idea of doing this activity with others. However, I personally have a bit of a preference for shopping by myself.

it depends, theres some item that i would like to shop alone and theres some that i want to be with friends nor bf. one thing why i hate to shop with someone else its because of the time consumption, i dont want them to feel bad waiting for me choosing which one i like as most of the time i will check out almost all store first before i buy one to check the best quality and price.

Likewise, I much prefer shopping alone than a group of friends. I can focus more on the things I need. I can shop easily and fast as I can without thinking of others.

It depends on what I'm buying. If I'm going to buy clothes, I think I'd rather shop alone. Partially because I'm very indecisive, and if someone is with me, I tend to make hurried decisions and end up returning things. I'm very picky about my clothes. They need to be comfortable. But if it's shopping for electronics or other stuff besides clothing, I'll bring other people along. Sometimes I'm lucky and they're knowledgeable on what I want to buy.

Hi,
Most of the time I prefer my family with me while shopping. I want their opinion and sometimes I even let them choose stuffs for me. I also feel great when they ask me for my opinion about the things they wanna buy. But when it comes to giving someone a surprise, I always shop alone. Sometimes I want to shop something on my way to home. So I want to do it as quickly as possible. Then I prefer to be alone. Shopping with your family, especially your wife can be unnecessarily and unbearably lengthy. Thank god I am not married yet. Thanks.
God bless you
