True rastas are a peaceful set of people who believe in spreading the message of love. They are naturalists and do not eat salt or pork, most of their food is home grown, Rastas cook ital meaning that there is no salt or artificial seasoning just naturally grown produce. They are very creative and their meals are actually quite delicious. Rastafarianism originated in jamaica with many of them living in the hills where they feel closer to nature and where it is conducive for meditation. They are very self sufficient and apart from growing their own food, they also make their own clothes and most of their cooking and household utensils. There are two main types of rastas, Nyabinghi and Boboshanti, i'm not sure of the difference between them.

I like this. A lot of people told me that rastas smoke a lot of weed and that they are very lazy and stuff. i knew that it wasn't true. Weed gives you a lot of imagination, and lets you explore many things, that it applies if u know how to controle your mind. Love rastas and love the dreads.
