How important is facebook for your contact?

How many of you depend on Facebook for contact with friends family or old school buddies?

I do have facebook but I go there to see my friends' pictures and make some friends only... I can contact my old friend through phone or my other friends :)

I'm like you in a way. I like facebook, but I don't overuse it. I mean, I'm on there to connect with friends, but I can equally as well call them or email them. So, if I had to rate facebook's importance in my life on a scale from 1-10, with 1 being the least important, I'd have to pick maybe a 4. I like it. It's a nice way to connect with people, but it's not the only optinn.

It's amazingly important for me. I wouldn't talk to practically anyone from my high school without Facebook. I learn about my friends' engagements, new jobs, moving in/moving out status updates through this great site. I also play games like Family Feud when I have downtime. :D I am honestly surprised when someone I meet who is under 30 doesn't have Facebook. Even my 70 year old boss is on Facebook!
