There was never anything I even wanted to do with my life than parent. I now have ten children, seven biological (married to the same man for 37 years) and three we adopted from foster care. Everything I want is here under my roof, and I am content!!

That is amazing I would love to have that many children but I have to balance the number of children I have with my financial issues, I want to be sure they can be well takwen care of. Congrats mother of 10! I also want to become a foster parent!

I completely agree with this statement. I've been a mother for nearly the last eight years and though my life has changed a lot in the last eight years, there is nothing at all that I would change about these changes. My daughter first, and then my son are the two people around whom my life revolves. I seldom make a decision regarding anything in my life that is selfish, my decisions are things that are for the best interest of the kids. But, I know I'm doing what is best for them.

Being a mother is the biggest thing a person can be. We are not only responsible for the life of the child but also for teaching that child everything from how to talk to values. We love, nurture, teach, discipline, nurse, comfort and cry. We are our children's homes when they have no other...even as adults, when our children think "home" they will think or imagine "Mom". It is the highest calling there can be. It is an honor and a joy, the greatest and the hardest job anyone could ever have. Especially nowadays when we are under the microscope of others and the government because they think they know better than we what our children need. I have many regrets in this world. Having children and being a mother is not one of them. It is the only thing that keeps me going sometimes. YES! It IS the best thing that ever happened to me.

I am a first time mom. Before I had my daughter, I used to say motherhood is not for me. I was really worried when i was pregnant that I may not be able to take the responsibility of having a child. But everything's change the first moment I saw her, It's like magic, suddenly you transform into a better woman that you can become. Now I think motherhood is the best thing into a woman's life. That's why i chose to be a full time mom. I love it, i never felt happy and contented with my life. I know that moms out there shared the same feeling as what i do.
