It is life. Many of you might know about it is hard to build up your good reputation from nothing, or from scratch. It is so easy to ruin it just in a moment. This concept also apply to mylot star rating. It would take days and months to build your good star rating. But You can also ruin it in a second. Also it applies to our daily life. It would be take many months to save your hard earning money in your account. But you can spend it all within hours. So, treasure what you had work on, don't ruin it with unnecessary temptation.

Amen. I had to learn this lesson the hard way by ruining my work reputation...and then working to rebuild it back. It definitely take awhile. In the beginning, you have to put so much sweat equity. You move from a period of insignificance where no one listens to you and through steps of success build up to significance and the good reputation. I guess the key is that it takes time which is valuable and precious.

It is also wrong when someone damages one's reputation. I am sure there are those here who found that someone's lies have made them look bad. As for spending money, I go by the rule that i have to have money in the bank - mad money - besides what I am paying for, just in case. And make sure that if you buy something big or something that costs, that you have a reason other then it looks so cool and everyone has to have it.
