Look around the world, there are so many disasters resulted from nature or human beings themselves everywhere and everytime.Headlines on newspapers are almost filled with earthquakes, floods, financial crisis or other disasters everyday.Maybe I am just a bit too pessimistic, but sometimes scare feeling still exists in my mind especially after seeing the movie 2012 which describes the situation when the doomsday comes. So mylotters,do you really believe in that doomsday will come soon in the near future? And what will you do as the day really comes? I am just curious to know your opinions.

Hey, if we know about the future, and we know about our human race gonna end in 2012, I will do everything to make my life happy right now. I will do something that I never think about to do it now. That is life, you have to enjoy the last moment. Don't you want it? Life is short, what the heck, we are going to die anyway.

i cannot forecast the future, and if ever that day did came, i would just trust everything to God. I believe He knows best in such situation. I will give Him my trust and faith. For now, i would like to live my life to the fullest and enjoy every minute and every hour of my life with my family and friends.. I just hope for the best. :)

Although I don't want to think that a change will come in 2012, I think that the world will be ok.

You know what, the end is near because we are facing problems with Global warming and all but it will not happen so soon, I think.
Reason behind is that all of these things won't happen so early, it will take time. Global warming has just been started, thus it will take something around 50-60 years.

well I know doomsday will come in the future but the exact time and date is really unknown and there is no mortals who can exactly predict that event.
Because only our creator is the only one who knows when it will come and when that time comes its the judgment for all of us.
But for me when people die I think that is the time of judgment for that person the only thing that will going to happen in this planet is the normal thing and common thing happen to all planet in the universe.
And because of us its getting nearer and nearer because we abuse our nature and the ecosystem is not balance anymore. its all humanity fault and the only thing that can restore it or save it is also us
And if that doomsday comes and I am still alive I think before everything end I will enjoy the best of nature if there is wonders left.

Too many doomsdays were predicted in history, but none of them became ture, isn't that real?
Maybe reports of disasters appears more frequently in the recent period, but it may be only because the improvement in our Party's news and we can know more foreign situation. Disasters happens everytime in the range of the whole world.
Finally, we can do nothing even though we are sure the doomsday is 2012 or some other day soon in the future, so why not enjoy now and forget all the predictions of doom.

Pessimistic or suckered? 2012 is a movie; a fictional one. Yes, the Mayan calendar ends in 2012, but that's just because they were a very organised people who liked to plan ahead. :)
Headlines aren't filled with that kind of thing either, silly! It's mostly the world cup at the moment, actually. Yes, natural disasters crop up from time to time, but they always have. Same with economic 'disasters'.
Basically, I'm not sweating it about the end of the world, because I believe that's it's likely to occur in just under 5 billion years, when our sun becomes a red giant and burns the Earth to a crisp; don't worry, though! Space travel should be far advanced by that point!
