Now this is something we should talk about.
I noticed for a few years now. that when ever a foreigner makes fun of our country or the people, we easily get angry?
why is that? have we had so many problems that we have to tackle words or sayings that are been said by people who are out of the stardom? and yet in some of our shows we also make fun of their countries.
Look a what Micheal V. did in this song as if he's discriminating Indians here. and yet we get mad when there's a scene of a Filipina maid or terry hatcher saying "she didn't want doctors from the Philippines"
no referral ink.

A Filipino is gonna laugh but what happens if a Filipino is the one being subject of comedy.

I'm filipino and I do agree on what you said, most filipino's hate racists but some do make fun of filipino ethnic groups :|

we are just sensitive..too sensitive in fact, that every criticism against us we take it personally..i think it is a common defense of a human who has low self esteem to bully others as an act of defense mechanism..
yes, we hate racism, but the fact is we are racist, we are fond of calling other nations names (a simple act of racism)..

hello jean,
it's been a while. regarding that i believe that people should have at least the respect for each other instead of throwing bad mud because we are one human race after all and were not supposed to be fighting over our petty differences. i believe filipinos should learn to prove instead of being angry to the truth.
