What task do you hate the most?

I have not said that I hate dusting, I just meant to say, given the choice, I may not do it, if someone else is available. Most of the times, it is my better half, who looks after this department, so I do not have to worry on this account.

oh, sorry, I guess I misunderstood. Yes, it is always the better half who shoulders everything a husband/wife wouldn't do. Why is it that men are so confident they always have a choice whether to do or not to do house chores while wives have no choice at all? Have a lovely day.:-)

. I'm sorry , my dear, but I couldn't help it. Why on earth do you hate dusting or cleaning? A typical man, you are? ;-) I thought you love being clean and being in a surrounding that is dirt free. Well, you are lucky if you have helpers to do that for you. But, even with househelpers there are areas in your place that you aren't comfortable being touched by others,ei? you really think that men who cook are sexy? now i can see that we also have similarities, your husband. i also have that kind of attitude, when ask what i want to eat or what should we order. sometimes, we have to laugh when i say, "anything" or "it's up to you". is there such a food called "anything" or "it's up to you"?

Ah, the man of the house really.:-) Men do not want to worry what to serve on the table, ei. My husband also hate it when its taking me so long to order food the food and then eventually will give to him the burden what to order.Sometimes, he'd excuse himself and went to the restroom hoping that when he comes back to our table everything is set.lol It is really difficult though what to cook especially when you have to consider everybody's taste preference... I sometimes dreaded thinking or doing . But for the sake of love, nothing is hard to accomplish. Men who can cook are sexy.

You must be a typical guy who consider his room as a place to lay down the exhausted body and spoof up whenever he wants to. :-)Men, as I noticed them hate doing it. Don't you want going inside an orderly room with clean linens and smelling fresh? I bet you do but is it laziness that stops you for doing a little elbow grease? Oh, you must be referring to Over time in the office, Asep.:-) Sometimes, this could be a downside when you are earning offline but, don't you get extra pay for extra work time and load? I do agree with you, though, that time with family, friends and yourself is equally important as the time you put in earning money. There goes another vote for dishwashing. :-) When we were young as kids, my brother who is a favorite of my father, hates to do the dishes. My mother asked him to wash them still but he refused passing the task to me. I resented because it wasn't fair, I thought. my father heard us arguing who will do it, so, out of anger, he told us that if we don't want to wash the dishes we should not use it, too. Use something disposable, he added, like a banana leaf or coco shell. . He, himself, doesn't want to do the dishes either. I almost retorted "you shouldn't use them, too" but I kept my silence. Who won the argument? Well, my bro has our father's favor so I end up doing the dishes anyway.;-) Thank you, Shadowmunk, for participating and WELCOME TO MYLOT.:-)

May be you can use ear phones so that the sound you hear is the music and not that from your vacuum.:-) Listening to music while doing tasks is such an energy booster and mood lifter. I am doing that, too, whenever i've got tons of things to do so as not to feel exhausted too easily. Well, it seems that you have no choice except if you vacuum your dog for good which is not a good thing and very inhumane to do.:-) Stay happy with your pet, though, Altaircho. Hi, Cream.:-) I think everybody hates doing those stuff especially if the sight of it makes you puke.I am the one mostly left at home and I have no choice but to clean up the place whenever it gets dirty. I can't stand it when it is messy and smelly. Here's what I'm doing with my toilet, I pour bleach on the bowl and let it settle for a minute or two.Then, i'll scrub it. It is easier to remove the dirt and stain that way plus it makes the toilet smells fresh. With the stove, I'm cleaning it every night to avoid piling up of dirts and food residues. This way, it is not as hard as it looks to clean up the stove and it will make its life span longer. Use vinegar and soap for stain and rust. Thank you for responding. Just like most of my respondents here, you hate doing the dishes, too! Now, I wonder why. What is so dreadful about doing the dishes, there are other tasks far more dreadful than doing this, like cleaning the fish and innards of an animals. Don't you think? He was taking the credits from you but maybe in his heart he was so proud of having kids like you.:-) I'd like to believe, though, that you were still able to had fun during your childhood, Redhotpogo, otherwise your story is a 6tale of force child labor.:-)

Hey, Denz. Thank you for responding.:-) I love animals and cleaning, feeding, bathing them is no problem for me. But yup, the smell of their wastes could be a big issue and sometimes it sticks to your skin or clothes that you almost smell like pig, too.:-) My brother raises pigs, too. And when the smell starts to bother him, his motivation is that one day they'll earn money for him.:-)

Hi, Shenlynn.:-) It is always a puzzle for me why most people, men and women alike hate doing the dishes. In my family, my father wouldn't wash them except the one he used and leave the rest in the sink for others to wash.Same with my bro. Even the kids who are old enough to do it are sour faced while doing it. You are lucky that your housemate understands your attitude towards such task. If you are dreading to do it, how much more the people in your house. I mean you are the one who will benefit lying in a clean bed, with clean mattresses and sheets. Wow, you are such a patient and industrious person, Skvm. If all men have the same mindset as you have, all women in the house will be happy. :-) That is true,though, we can't be choosy in doing chores or tasks especially when there's no one to help us around and no one to rely on but ourselves.
