Yes Bala. Recently I telphoned my motherinlaw on her birthday.SHe is a person known for her sternness and nonjovial attitude.I would always be my normal bubbly self with my fatherinlaw but I would be more formal with motherinlaw.WHen she heard my voice and wishes, immediately she said "hmmm! WHy are you not singing for me?' I was delighted to hear this and sang in my usual jolly manner, a loud 'Hpapy birthday to you'.
I was very surprised.

Our family friend is a music teacher. He used to say that one particular person counts the notes that he is paying as music class fees for his children two or three times before giving it. This of course he casually mentioned in a context. When this music teacher's daughter met with an accident and was badly injured and there were countless operations taking place, this same stingy person, without asking, gave 20,000 rupees to the music teacher and said, return only 10,000 at your convenience and the other 10,000 I am giving from my God's hundi which I kept for giving it to needy. Hence you need not return. You do not know which snake is there in which snake pit.

So nice to hear that.May be that particular person knows the value of the money and knows when to spend and when not to.May be he knows the difference between being prudent and extravagant.He3 may be saving his money to spend on good and reasonable causes.Anyway he is a one fine example of a person we all have to emulate.

hi bala oh yes Because I was new here at the time and had not had the misfortune of finding out about Glen, I went with my roommate to the
other end of the dining room to look at some Halloween decoration that'
she thought was very unique.Well here comes this short grey hair man with glasses and hes glaring at me. He yells." You don't belong on this end ot the dining room, Go back where you belong. Ought sic the FBI on you.Get back there." I was flabbergasted as Ihad seen him before and he looked as sane as anyone else. He again yelled, " my brother can get the FBI afteryou." I stared at him, and replied," I think the FBI has more important things to do than chase around after me." Then walked back to my table as the pompous little idiot sidled along to his own table just a short ways from mine. He has all sorts of mental problems. He looks sane
but thats not true,he is really all screwed up.

Hi bala! I can tell you about something that happened to me
not too long ago that surprised me so much that I even started
a discussion about it! Last month on Mother's Day my friend,
who is 26 and my "Computer Guy" brought me over a dozen red roses!
We have gotten to be very close in the last few years since we
met. He was referred to me by my young 22 year old neighbor
a few years ago when I first got my computer. Me and him got
to be friends because he considered me "like another mother"!
He has a Mom who he is very close with and he was able to talk
to me just like he did with his her. When he brought me
the roses on Mother's Day I was shocked and so happy! I have
no children and he is "like the son I never had"! This
meant so much to me! I have always had younger kids in the
neighborhood who would come over and tell me their problems,
I guess because I am easy going and don't judge them and keep
quiet about whatever they tell me.

I had to give this some thought and the last time I recall being surprised by someone’s behaviour was the day my beloved thirteen year old cat passed away. The person who astounded me was my husband who cried real tears over a cat he never particularly liked before and he shocked me when he gathered me and my daughter, dried our tears and took us to the RSPCA and got us a new kitten! This is a man who had to be talked into getting pets in the first place!

I remember one Sunday night,me and my friends are on our way home from a gathering.
We are chatting and sometimes laugh when recalling funny events.
Then, out of the blue, someone from behind overtake us and shouted "scam, you zip your mouths"
We look amazed and froze for a moment, and then,we laughed.
We are walking along a service road, with some passengers/passersby.
Who cares to shout us to stop in the middle of a busy street?(ugh!)
Well,maybe the person doesn't know happiness(hehehe)
Have a good weekend
