what will you do to lessen the garbage?

I recycle or reuse the plastic bags. I have also tried to crochet plastic bags which resulted in 120 plastic bags off the garbage and a new tote bag. I am looking at using more plastic bags for other crochet projects.

We segregate our garbage. After I have collected a lot, I donate it to a community church and they sell it for cash. In my own little way, I've lessen the pollution and I was also able to help give funds to the church.

i already have a couple of eco-bags to use for grocery.

i reuse the plastic bag...untill they cant be reused again...we give all the papers, stationary for recycleing. flower petals are buried in the earh for they make good mannure and most of the kitchen waste in our house and the neighbourhood is collected and sent to dairies for cows...we had hired a rickshaw pullaer for this work..all these thing have reduced the garbage to 20%

I try to reuse all the plastic bags I get from the supermarket. For example, we save all the ones that are dry and put them away for whenever we need them. Also, I only throw away my old school papers in school where there is paper recycling available. Unfortunately there isn't a recycling program for paper or plastic where I live. Whenever I go to the beach though I make sure to use the recycling bins that are available there.

I use my reusable shopping bags.

I also use those bags offered at supermarkets that are branded environment friendly.
