I work Amazon Turks on and off on a regular basis.. It is basically just like doing tasks on mylot.. But they call their tasks hits. You go through the hits you qualified read the instructions then hit the button to do the task complete it then hit the button to submit your work and wait.. then if the requestor likes your work they will credit to your amazon turks account which you can request payment in a few ways, or request payment in the form of an amazon certificate...
Now, as far as what one said about no scams.. I disagree with this.. When you are working with someone for the first time.. Submit maybe 2-3 jobs for them.. to make sure that if you do them right they will pay you ... I had one I did the jobs right for and followed all the work and I worked 200 some hits that day.. They rejected all of them ... and messed up my score so bad I am just now getting back to being able to work the good, and simple Hits.. You can type in facebook, and twitter some tasks are so easy all you have to do is add or like a fan page or follow someone and then submit your name.. so they can see you followed them .. others are surveys.. I recommend Amazon Turks.. Especially if you are good writer.. As there are many writing and free lance jobs on there.

I think I answered the wrong end of your answer... HIT is a job, and to submit it just enters it.. I am not sure what to do as a requestor.. As I am just a worker over there.

Getting tasks approved is simply a matter of how much effort you put into each task. Keep in mind that you are doing legitimate work for a person who really needs to get a job done. They expect a level of quality and not just work submitted by a person who wants money fast. So try to keep your work as professional as possible when completing even the most cumbersome of tasks, though I hope that you are picking jobs that interest you and you think you are able to do.
Mturk does take some time getting used to, especially when trying to get qualifications to allow you to do certain jobs. It will take some time to find a line of jobs that you like and can really make money on. I myself do a lot of game testing and audio transcriptions and document editing but that's because I like those fields.

Nice discussion, this has been useful to new turkers because there are unclear issues about mturk for newbies.
