Much has been said about the oil spill but the truth is the environmental impact of the spill is enormous. BP have not been able to stop the spill, so is the Obama admin, Birds are dying, fishermen are starving who is to blame?

BP of course is to blame , they are the ones that actually caused the explosion and they have yet to actually find a solution to the problem of the oil spill.

There is much blame to be passed on who is responsible. So if we start from the bottom it is the people that made the casing that colapsed in causing the spill, it is the rigging company for not making sure that the casing was correct before they started the drilling, it was the inspectors that allow the drill to be set even though there were issues, so on and so on. Ultimately it is BP's fault. They were the ones responsible for the well. But at this point the blame game is doing us no good. We have Americans that are no longer able to make an income, we have wildlife that is being killed, we have the cost of seafood going through the roof and for this we will all pay some price. What we need to be concerned with is how and when is it going to stop. We have some of the brightest minds on the Earth working on this and still 50+ days later there is no end in sight.

BP is the number one to blame. They should have made sure that everything was safe. They should have had a viable plan in motion for oil spills, instead of having to take 50 plus days and still not having a fix. The Government is to blame also, they should have had better inspector and inspections. Instead of just asking if BP had a plan for oil spill they should have made BP show them the plan that they have in motion.

BP of course is to blame. They should not have drilled that deep if they couldn't have handled a mishap like the current one. This just goes to show how huge corporations can influence things.
