what an awful match played by spain, 1 very clamorous mistake from casillas became the 1-0, and another clamorous mistake from xavi alonso was near to cost the 2-0.
apart from this, switzeland limited only to defend, only trying to atack on a counterattack, and spain tried and tried but in attack they were a desorganized band that played nothing.

I actually think Spain played well but in the final quarter they were poor. Also Del Bosque started negatively starting with Busquets. I had hoped he will start with Villa and Torres, instead Torres came in late on. His arrival did spark a fire for Spain but it was too late. I think the Swiss organization was trademark Ottmar Hitzfeld with the team defending as a unit. The goalkeeper Diego was spot on for the full match.
Cheers!

It was bad defending by Spain for the goal. I only saw the last 20 minutes, but who was the spanish Right winger who got loads of the ball but couldn't cross a road. How frustrating it must have been for Villa and Torres that he couldn't get a decent ball to attack.

Spain plays a annoying tiki taka that is often useless. Italy had been badly criticized by Spanish people and press for its draw game with Switzerland in a previous friendly contest and for its draw game against Paraguay, but now I must say that Italy has good chances to win again, or at least go very far, in this 2010 World championships, since Switzerland has beaten the arrogant Spain, which was considered the top team and Paraguay was able to beat Brazil and Argentina in the qualyfing games. That's to say they aren't so bad teams after all and Italy did well. I believe Chile & Switzerland will play for a draw and will reach 4 points, and both of them will win against honduras: at the end it'll be: Switz and Chile pt 7, Spain pt 6 and Honduras pt 0. Spain out.

you should check your maths my friend, because if chile beats spain, it's imposible that spain finishes with 6 points, and if spain beats chile, it's imposible that chile gets 7 points, so spain being out with 7-7-6 is imposible to happen, but is much more posible that spain gets KOed with a triple 6 points draw, every team beats honduras, spain beats chile and chile beats switzerland, in this case, the goal average will say who advance to next round and who goes home

I don’t actually think Spain played that poorly because as has been shown already that if a good team comes up against a team just willing to put everyone behind the ball and counter attack then it will be a very boring game. It happened to Brazil who nearly fell foul of the tactic and now it has happened to Spain and to be honest Spain played some really nice football and were unlucky not score.
Hopefully the next round will be a bit more exciting as teams now need to go for it and so there should be some more free flowing football.
