Some people while shopping for half and hour and come back and they are still there buying more tickets.Should the person at the booth have the right to stop selling to someone that is oviously not in control and is overspending.Their must be some restrictions on this. Most likely the clerk at the booth i think would be afraid to ask them to stop gambling as they may turn violent and abusive. What do you think about this sort of behaviour that occurs oftern everywhere their is gambling?

It doesn't bother me. People should have the right to spend their money as they wish. Lottery tickets don't seem like a great investment to me, but I don't want to make that decision for everyone and I actually do think lotteries are a good means of funding. I wouldn't buy a lottery ticket expecting to make money off it, but I would buy one or more to help education or another cause with the chance of winning as a fun bonus. Besides, it's a great assumption to say that someone is "overspending" -- maybe they have more than enough funds to buy as many lottery tickets as they wish.

I think what ticks me off are the people living off welfare and spending about $100 to a time on the stupid lottery tickets. I saw one lady the other day cash her welfare check turn around and buy 50 $1 scratch off tickets and another 50 Mega lottery tickets. I can't even afford 1 ticket and I am not living off the tax payers money, yet this lady is??
