I honestly can say I never heard the song or saw the video until I heard so much talk about it! So I went on YouTube and checked the video out. I got to say Miley Cyrus looked too sexy in the video and the video was on the strange side! She is truly targeting an older audience with the song and video! She isn't Hannah Montana anymore! Now she makes me hate her even more then I already did!

If she is trying to be like Britney Spears, she is succeeding, but I really wish that she would not be like her because look at Britney now! Is that really what Miley wants to aspire to? I feel sad for her if that is the case. Why can't some of these child and teen celebrities see that being "rebellious", in this way, will get them nowhere? Miley has so much potential. I know she can sing country music really well, and its sad that this is the path that she has chosen. She is so much better than what she is currently making herself out to be.

I agree! Miley Cyrus is a Britney Speras want a be! She is on the right track for sure! I can see Miley ending up like Britney or even Lindsey Lohan in the future! I also think her parents have always let her do what ever she pleases! It sure is evident now!

I think the female pop singers need to learn from the mistake of pop singers from the past and look at what will happen to them if they don't shape up and make a change.

I really don't care for Miley Cyrus, so I have not seen the video. But your reaction doesn't surprise me. I think it's really hard for child stars (Disney Channel stars) to break out of their image. Take Britney Spears for example; she used to be in the Mickey Mouse Club, and came out as a cute little school girl pop star. When she started wearing skimpy outfits and dancing provacatively, people wouldn't sop talking about her.

I feel another Miley Cyrus scandal coming on. I think some of this hype and publicity is aimed at more music sales.

She is getting older. You can not remain a teenager all your life. I have problems see a gal at about 40 playing a teenager on kids stations. That is sick in my opinion.

haha. well, if u ask me, the videos shot nowadays are very strange and if u ask me rather too cliche and predictable. in fact, it is about time someone actually pointed that out. the singers are too fake and the video is too make believe. overall, they will only tend to bore you in the end

I have not watch video's in years! It wasn't until my friend ,who's a Lady Gaga nut, mentioned all her video's are on YouTube. So I had heard about Miley Cyrus on the internet and her sexy clothes and the tile of her latest single. So I figured out if Lady Gaga's video's are on YouTube everyone else who makes them is! That is why I saw the video. I wanted to see what all the talk was about! Never again will I watch any of her video's or Lady Gaga's! They are to much for me!

She is doing like every artist has ever done when they are controlled in the music world and expressing herself and trying something new. I honestly like the song and yes the vedio is weird, but every video now days is. She still holds her purtiy close to home and I give her alot of credit for that.

Miley Cyrus isn't a child anymore. She's almost 18. She shouldn't have to target the Hannah Montana audience forever. Compromising herself and not growing up just for the sake of keeping fans is the equivalent to selling out. And she's really not showing that much skin in this video. Just a little bit of her legs and her arms. Britney and Christina were doing and singing about far worse, when they were even younger than Miley is now. It seems to me that people generally take anything Miley does as overly offensive and inappropriate no matter what she does.
